The first hardscape is in

The largest tank so far: two metres long, a thousand litres. Today I built the hardscape around the idea of a fallen tree — the open spaces between the branches matter just as much as the wood itself.

The tank has just been set up and planted. Now it has to show whether there are enough hiding places and sightlines for what will later become the tetras and corydoras.
