Setting up the Borneo nano

A small sixty-litre tank, inspired by the shaded forest floor of Borneo. A dense network of branches and roots gives it a three-dimensional structure straight away; between them I’ve planted several Cryptocoryne.

Now it’s mostly a matter of waiting. With tanks like this the run-in phase decides everything — the biofilm and microfauna need to establish before any shrimp can go in.
